When factory exhaust valves are deleted—often during the installation of a high-performance aftermarket exhaust—the vehicle's ECU typically triggers a "soft code." While these codes often don't trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL), they are stored in the system and can be seen during diagnostics.

These AWE simulators are a simple, hardware-based solution. They plug directly into the factory wiring harness in place of the original valve motors, providing the necessary signal to keep the ECU functioning as if the valves were still present. The installation is completely plug-and-play with no wiring or splicing required.
