DEI Glass Fiber Exhaust Wrap (10137) is engineered to mitigate extreme underhood temperatures and optimize exhaust scavenging. By insulating headers and downpipes, this 2-inch wide wrap retains heat within the exhaust system, decreasing gas density and increasing flow velocity for improved performance. Reducing radiant heat effectively lowers intake air temperatures and protects sensitive engine components from thermal fatigue.
This tan wrap features integrated installation guide lines to ensure even overlapping for a professional finish. For maximum durability and protection against road grime or fluid spills, it is highly recommended to seal the wrap with DEI HT Silicone Coating spray after installation.
