The COBB Silicone Turbo Inlet V2 (712450) is designed to replace the restrictive and often brittle factory plastic inlet. This upgraded component provides a larger internal diameter and a smoother air path to the turbocharger, reducing intake turbulence and improving throttle response across the powerband.
Constructed from multi-layer reinforced silicone, this inlet is engineered to withstand extreme engine bay temperatures and resist the degradation common with OE rubber parts. The V2 design features internal steel wire reinforcement to ensure the hose never collapses under high vacuum, maintaining consistent airflow even in high-boost applications.
