The Banks Power MAP Sensor Spacer Kit addresses a frequent maintenance headache for 6.7L Power Stroke owners: MAP sensor coking. In the factory configuration, the sensor is positioned directly in the path of EGR-recirculated soot and particulates. Over time, this buildup fouls the sensor, leading to inaccurate boost readings, decreased fuel economy, and potential check engine lights. This kit spaces the sensor back from the primary intake stream, significantly reducing soot accumulation while maintaining the integrity of the pressure signal.
