The ACT XACT Flywheel Prolite is engineered to significantly improve engine response and acceleration by reducing rotational inertia. Unlike multi-piece designs that are prone to failure, this one-piece forged unit provides uniform heat transfer from the clutch disc, eliminating common issues such as warped inserts or loose ring gears.
Built for the rigors of high-RPM race use, each flywheel is CNC machined from heat-treated forgings and dynamically computer balanced to ensure vibration-free reliability. The induction-hardened ring gears provide maximum service life, even in demanding performance environments.
