The ACT XACT Streetlite Flywheel (part number 600150) is designed to significantly improve engine response and acceleration by reducing rotational mass without sacrificing the drivability required for street use. Unlike multi-piece flywheels that utilize bolted-on friction surfaces, ACT's one-piece design is precision-forged for superior strength and toughness. This monolithic construction ensures uniform heat transfer from the clutch disc and eliminates the risk of warped inserts or loose ring gears.
Each flywheel is CNC machined to exacting tolerances and dynamically computer-balanced to ensure smooth, vibration-free operation even at high RPM. The ring gears are induction-hardened for maximum service life, making this an ideal upgrade for both spirited street driving and competitive racing environments.
