The ACT XACT Flywheel Prolite (600240) is engineered for the demands of race use, providing a significant reduction in rotational mass for dramatically improved engine response and acceleration. Unlike multi-piece designs that are prone to failure, this flywheel features a one-piece construction forged from high-quality steel for maximum toughness and uniform heat transfer from the clutch disc.
Precision-engineered for reliability at high RPM, each flywheel is CNC machined and dynamically computer balanced. The induction-hardened ring gears ensure a long service life and consistent starter engagement, while the heat-treated forging eliminates issues like warped inserts or loose ring gears.
