The ACT XACT Prolite flywheel is engineered to provide maximum engine response and rapid acceleration for competitive driving. By significantly reducing rotational mass, this ultra-lightweight flywheel allows the engine to reach its powerband faster, making it an essential upgrade for race-focused builds.
Constructed from a single-piece chromoly steel forging, the XACT Prolite is CNC machined and heat-treated for exceptional strength and toughness. This one-piece design eliminates the common failure points found in multi-piece flywheels, such as warped inserts or loose ring gears, while ensuring uniform heat transfer away from the clutch disc. Each unit is dynamically computer-balanced to ensure smooth, vibration-free operation at high RPMs.
