The Action Clutch Retrofit Chromoly Lightweight Flywheel (MPN AC132FW-RT) is engineered for high-performance street and track applications. By reducing rotational mass, this flywheel significantly improves throttle response and engine acceleration. Each unit is manufactured from forged 4140 chromoly steel and undergoes a specialized heat-treatment process to ensure maximum durability and high thermal capacity.
Designed to withstand the rigors of racing, these flywheels are tested up to 18,000 RPM. The one-piece construction offers superior reliability over multi-piece designs, and the surface is fully resurfaceable to provide a long service life. Note that reducing rotational mass may introduce slight increases in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) compared to the factory dual-mass unit.
