The Competition Clutch ST Series lightweight steel flywheel (MPN 2-671-ST) is engineered for street-driven and naturally aspirated applications where maintaining drivability is critical. At 13.47 lbs, this flywheel reduces rotational inertia to improve engine response while remaining heavy enough to preserve low-end torque and prevent excessive drivetrain chatter. It is an ideal companion for Stage 1 or Stage 2 clutch upgrades.
Unlike multi-piece designs, this flywheel features a one-piece construction CNC-machined from 4140 forged steel. This material selection provides superior thermal capacity and structural integrity under high-RPM use, ensuring a reliable friction surface that resists warping better than standard cast iron units.
