The Fidanza 191241 aluminum flywheel is engineered to reduce rotational mass and improve engine response. By dropping 40-60% of the weight compared to the factory cast iron unit, this flywheel significantly lowers the Moment of Inertia (MOI), allowing the engine to rev more freely and deliver quicker acceleration through the gears. The body is CNC-machined from high-quality 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 billet aluminum for superior strength and thermal dissipation.
Designed for long-term serviceability, this flywheel features a bolt-on replaceable friction plate made from heat-treated steel, allowing you to refresh the clutch surface without replacing the entire assembly. The hardened 1050 steel ring gear is also replaceable and secured with military-spec fasteners for maximum reliability under high-RPM conditions.
