The Fidanza 126991 lightweight aluminum flywheel is engineered to reduce rotational mass, allowing your engine to transfer more power to the wheels. CNC-machined from high-strength billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum, this flywheel is approximately 40% to 60% lighter than factory units. This significant reduction in the Moment of Inertia (MOI) results in faster throttle response and improved acceleration across the RPM range.
Unlike traditional flywheels, this Fidanza unit features a bolt-on replaceable friction plate made from 1045 or 1050 steel, eliminating the need for resurfacing or total replacement during clutch service. The friction surface is heat-treated for maximum grip and long-term durability under high-performance driving conditions.
