The Fidanza 126801 aluminum flywheel is engineered to significantly reduce rotational mass, weighing 40-60% less than the factory cast iron unit. Constructed from high-strength billet 6061-T6 or 2024-T4 aluminum, this flywheel lowers the Moment of Inertia (MOI) to provide faster throttle response and quicker acceleration by freeing up horsepower otherwise lost to parasitic drag.
Designed for longevity and serviceability, this unit features a replaceable 1050 steel ring gear and a bolt-on heat-treated friction plate, allowing for easy refreshes without replacing the entire flywheel. The assembly is secured with military-spec fasteners to ensure maximum reliability under high-RPM conditions.
