The Fidanza 143301 aluminum flywheel is engineered to reduce rotating mass, significantly lowering the moment of inertia (MOI) for faster throttle response and quicker acceleration. Machined from high-quality billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum, this flywheel is 40% to 60% lighter than the factory cast iron unit, freeing up horsepower that was previously lost to parasitic drag.
For long-term serviceability, Fidanza features a bolt-on replaceable friction plate made from 1045 or 1050 steel, allowing you to refresh the clutch surface without replacing the entire flywheel. The assembly is secured with military-spec fasteners and features a heat-treated 1050 steel ring gear for maximum durability under high-stress driving conditions.
