Engineered to reduce rotational mass and free up horsepower, the Fidanza 198501 aluminum flywheel is 40% to 60% lighter than factory cast-iron units. This significant reduction in the moment of inertia (MOI) allows for significantly faster throttle response and quicker acceleration. The flywheel body is CNC-machined from high-strength billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum and features a replaceable 1050 steel friction plate, allowing for easy servicing without the need to replace the entire assembly.
