The Fidanza 161301 aluminum flywheel is engineered to significantly reduce rotational mass compared to heavy factory cast-iron components. By weighing 40-60% less than stock, this flywheel lowers the Moment of Inertia (MOI), allowing your engine to reach its powerband faster and providing noticeably sharper throttle response and acceleration. The main body is CNC-machined from high-strength billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum.
Designed for longevity and serviceability, this flywheel features a bolt-on replaceable friction plate made from heat-treated steel, providing an optimum mating surface for the clutch disc without the need to replace the entire flywheel. A hardened 1050 steel ring gear and military-spec fasteners ensure the assembly maintains its structural integrity under high-performance driving conditions.
