This Fidanza aluminum flywheel is engineered to significantly reduce rotational mass, weighing 40-60% less than the factory steel unit. By lowering the Moment of Inertia (MOI), this upgrade allows your 8.0L V10 to reach its powerband faster, delivering sharper throttle response and quicker acceleration through the gears.
Constructed from high-tensile billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum, the flywheel body provides exceptional strength without the weight. Unlike one-piece designs, this flywheel features a bolt-on, replaceable friction plate made from heat-treated 1050 steel. This ensures a durable, high-grip surface for your clutch while allowing for easy servicing without replacing the entire assembly. The hardened 1050 steel ring gear is also replaceable and secured with military-spec fasteners for maximum reliability under high-load conditions.
