The aFe Power BladeRunner Intercooler is engineered to replace the restrictive factory unit with a high-efficiency 3-inch bar and plate core. Unlike standard tube and fin designs, this heavy-duty core provides superior heat dissipation and structural integrity, specifically tested at pressures up to 200 psi for high-boost applications. The 3/16-inch TIG-welded aluminum end tanks feature Multi-Directional Vane (MDV) technology, which utilizes internal vanes to guide airflow across the entire core surface for maximum cooling efficiency.

Designed for performance and utility, this intercooler includes four 1/8-inch NPT ports, allowing for easy installation of gauges or auxiliary injection systems. In real-world testing, the BladeRunner design demonstrated a 200°F temperature drop and a 100°F reduction in Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs), while providing a 30% increase in airflow over the stock setup.
