This replacement diaphragm is engineered specifically for the integrated Compressor Recirculation Valve (CRV) found on BorgWarner EFR (Engineered For Racing) series turbochargers. Over time, constant heat cycles and high-boost operation can fatigue the original rubber, leading to tears that cause boost leaks and diminished throttle response.
Installing a fresh CRV diaphragm restores the turbocharger's ability to properly recirculate air during throttle lift-off.
