This adapter effectively raises the mounting height of the Discriminator Safety Valve (DSV) on the surge tank top plate.
By elevating the DSV, this extension allows for a higher fuel fill level before the internal float ball triggers the vent shut-off. This is a critical modification for endurance racing and track applications where maximizing fuel capacity is paramount. The adapter installs easily, threading into the existing port to provide the necessary clearance for more efficient filling.
