The Fleece Performance SureFlo Performance Sending Unit (FPE-SF-CUMM-9197) is engineered to solve common fuel delivery issues in first-generation Cummins trucks running aftermarket lift pumps. Unlike traditional draw straws or tank sumps that require drilling and can lead to fuel starvation at low levels, the SureFlo uses a specialized bucket assembly. This design draws fuel from and returns it to the base of the unit, utilizing one-way check valves to keep the pump submerged even at low fuel levels. This effectively eliminates the "1/4 tank issue" and protects your pump from cavitation caused by drawing air.
Installation is straightforward, utilizing an OEM-style fitment that requires no cutting or drilling of the fuel tank. The unit features factory-style quick disconnects to adapt to your stock fuel lines while also providing universal -8 AN ports for those plumbing a custom high-flow fuel system.
