The Cometic C14011-060 Oil Pan Gasket is a high-performance sealing solution designed to provide a reliable interface between the oil pan and the engine block. Engineered from .060-inch thick AFM (Athetic Fiber Material), this gasket utilizes a nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This specialized construction offers an 85% recovery rate while maintaining exceptional torque retention, ensuring the gasket won't crush out or lose seal integrity over time. Designed for efficiency, the AFM material requires no additional sealants, RTV, or re-torquing after the initial installation.
