This Cometic thermostat gasket is engineered from .060" AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a specialized sealing solution consisting of a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to a solid aluminum core. Designed to handle the thermal demands of the Gen1 Viper cooling system, this material provides excellent torque retention and an 85% recovery rate, ensuring a reliable seal that does not require additional RTV or messy sealants.

- 85% recovery rate maintains seal integrity during thermal cycling
- Temperature resistance of over 205°F
