The AEM 30-2064 Universal Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor Install Kit is engineered to provide precise pressure measurements while protecting sensitive components from extreme heat. This kit is specifically designed for use with the AEM 4-Channel Wideband UEGO Controller, enabling tuners to mount wideband O2 sensors pre-turbo and obtain accurate air/fuel ratio (AFR) readings by compensating for exhaust backpressure.
By utilizing a stainless steel standoff tube and braided line, the system isolates the sensor from the direct heat of the exhaust manifold, preventing thermal damage without sacrificing response time. This is a critical addition for high-performance forced induction setups where accurate pre-turbo data is required.
