Red Line 75W140NS is a high-viscosity, GL-5 gear oil designed for applications requiring extreme pressure protection without the slipperiness of added friction modifiers. This non-slip (NS) formula is engineered for racing clutch-type limited-slip differentials to provide maximum lock-up, though it allows for custom tuning; users can add Red Line Limited Slip Friction Modifier in small increments to achieve specific slippage requirements.
The non-corrosive formula is fully safe for all synchro materials, including brass and bronze. This makes it a preferred choice for historic and vintage synchro-equipped gearboxes from the mid-1930s to the early 1950s. It is also a proven solution for resolving noisy or rough shifting in 1964-1969 Dodge and Plymouth A-833 4-speed transmissions.
- Provides maximum lock-up in racing clutch-type limited-slip differentials.
- Contains extreme pressure (EP) additives for superior gear protection.
