Red Line 75W90NS GL-5 Gear Oil is a fully synthetic lubricant engineered specifically for manual transmissions and transaxles where friction modifiers are not desired. The "NS" (Non-Slip) formula is designed without the slipperiness found in standard GL-5 oils to help slow down synchronizers, ensuring quicker, more positive shifting across a broad temperature range. This makes it an ideal solution for performance transaxles in Ferrari, Porsche, and Subaru models, as well as high-torque muscle car transmissions.
- Optimized for synchronized manual transmissions and transaxles to improve shift quality
- Lacks friction modifiers to maximize synchronizer engagement and clutch-type LSD lock-up
- Contains extreme pressure (EP) additives for superior gear tooth protection
- Safe for yellow metals with enhanced copper corrosion protection to prolong synchro life
