Red Line 80W140 GL-5 Gear Oil is a high-viscosity synthetic lubricant engineered for differentials and non-synchronized transmissions operating under heavy loads or extreme racing conditions. This formula comes pre-blended with friction modifiers specifically for clutch-type limited slip differentials (LSD), providing the necessary chatter-free operation without the need for additional additives in most applications.
Designed for maximum film strength and thermal stability, this oil is a staple in stock car racing and heavy-duty towing environments where gear protection is critical. Note: Due to its high lubricity, this product is not intended for use in manual transmissions or transaxles equipped with synchronizers, as it may interfere with proper gear synchronization and shifting performance.
