Red Line Heavy ShockProof Gear Oil is engineered for heavily loaded racing differentials and transmissions that require extreme cushioning and film strength. This unique lubricant provides a film thickness greater than a 75W250 grade oil while maintaining the low fluid friction of a 75W90, effectively reducing operating temperatures and parasitic drag without sacrificing protection.
- Provides massive film thickness for maximum protection against shock loading and gear tooth fatigue
- Optimized for Quick Change differentials, Detroit Lockers, spools, and high-load racing applications
- Used in NHRA Top Fuel and Funny Car rear ends, Sprint, Midget, and Dirt Late Model racing
- Reduces gear noise and helps solve issues in problematic or worn gearboxes
- Not recommended for most synchronized manual transmissions due to extreme slipperiness
