Red Line MT-90 75W90 GL-4 is a fully synthetic manual transmission lubricant designed to improve shift feel and provide superior synchronizer protection. Formulated specifically for units requiring a GL-4 fluid, MT-90 lacks the reactive sulfurs found in most GL-5 oils that can corrode brass and other yellow metal synchronizers. This makes it an ideal solution for eliminating notchy shifting and grinding, even during cold operation.
This high-performance gear oil is popular in manual transmissions for select Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi, VW/Audi, Lotus Elise/Exige, and Toyota vehicles, as well as Mendeola transmissions and Atlas transfer cases.
