Red Line MTL 75W80 GL-4 is a full-synthetic manual transmission lubricant engineered to provide excellent protection and improved shift quality in a wide range of passenger cars and light trucks. This fluid features a specific coefficient of friction that allows for faster synchronizer engagement, eliminating notchy shifting even in cold weather. Unlike many GL-5 gear oils, MTL is formulated without reactive sulfurs, making it completely safe for brass and yellow metal synchronizers.
- Satisfies gear oil viscosity requirements for 75W and 80W, as well as motor oil viscosities of SAE 30, 10W30, and 5W30
- Recommended for GL-1, GL-3, and GL-4 applications and specialized synchromesh fluids
- Direct replacement for GM Synchromesh (9985648), Auto-Trak II (12378508), and Chrysler spec MS-9224
- Ideal for NV1500, NV3500, NV3550, and NV5600 truck transmissions found in Dodge and Jeep vehicles
