This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered to provide a superior seal for high-performance 5.0L Coyote engines. Constructed from three to five layers of high-grade stainless steel, this Left Hand Side (LHS) gasket offers exceptional strength, rebound capability, and corrosion resistance. The outer layers are embossed and double-coated with a specialized Viton rubber material, designed to maintain seal integrity across various load conditions and surface finishes. The Viton coating is specifically formulated to withstand thermal stress up to 250°C (482°F), ensuring reliability in demanding street and track environments.
By utilizing an MLS design, this gasket requires less clamp load than traditional composite gaskets, which significantly reduces bore distortion and promotes uniform load distribution across the sealing surface.
