This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered to provide a superior seal for high-performance L15B7 engines. Constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel, it offers enhanced thermal conductivity and durability compared to standard composite gaskets. The embossed outer layers are designed to maintain a consistent seal across varying surface finishes and load conditions, while the uncoated stainless steel shim layer allows for precise thickness control.
The MLS design requires less clamping force than traditional gaskets, which reduces cylinder bore distortion and promotes more uniform load distribution across the sealing surface. This is critical for maintaining engine integrity in forced induction or high-compression environments.
