The Cometic MLX (Multi-Layer Stopper) gasket is engineered for high-performance sealing in high-cylinder-pressure environments. By integrating a dedicated stopper layer, these gaskets provide a precise mechanical seal around the combustion chamber. This design increases the clamp load exactly where it is needed most without causing bore distortion or requiring increased torque specs.
Built from the same high-grade stainless steel layers as the proven MLS series, the MLX technology eliminates the need for copper spray or other sealants. These gaskets are designed to be installed dry and require no re-torquing after the initial heat cycle, making them a reliable choice for both street builds and competitive forced-induction setups.
