Fits 1990-2001 Acura Integra GS, LS, RS, and Special Edition models equipped with B18A/B non-VTEC engines.
The Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket provides maximum sealing performance for high-output B-Series engines. Engineered with multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, this gasket features outer layers coated in Viton—a heat-resistant fluoroelastomer rated to 250°C (482°F). This advanced construction allows the gasket to rebound and resist corrosion while effectively managing the shearing forces created by different thermal expansion rates between aluminum heads and iron or aluminum blocks.
By utilizing multiple layers of stainless steel, Cometic gaskets require less clamp load to achieve a reliable seal, which helps minimize cylinder bore distortion. This design is ideal for high-performance builds, whether naturally aspirated or forced induction, and requires no additional sealants for installation.
