Designed for performance applications, the MLS construction features embossed outer layers coated with a high-temperature fluroelastomer rubber-based material to meet the demands of various surface finishes and load conditions.
The uncoated stainless steel center shim layer allows for precise thickness requirements while maintaining structural integrity. This design requires less clamp load than traditional gaskets, which helps minimize cylinder bore distortion and ensures even load distribution across the entire sealing surface.
