Fits 1997-2001 Honda Prelude Base and Type SH models equipped with the H22-A4 engine.
The Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered to provide the superior sealing required for high-output engines. This gasket features a three-layer construction utilizing embossed stainless steel for increased rebound and structural integrity. The outer layers are coated with a .001" thick Viton rubber (fluoroelastomer), designed to withstand temperatures up to 250°C (482°F) and meet the demands of various harsh sealing environments and surface finishes. Unlike traditional gaskets, this MLS design requires less clamp load, which helps reduce bore distortion while ensuring even load distribution across the sealing surface.
