This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered to handle the high combustion pressures and extreme thermal loads of modern Jaguar and Land Rover engines. Constructed with a center stainless steel shim layer and embossed outer layers, this gasket ensures a superior seal even in harsh environments. The design requires less clamp load than traditional gaskets, which helps reduce cylinder bore distortion for better ring seal and power retention. Both outer layers are coated with a 0.001" thick layer of Viton rubber to ensure reliable sealing across varied surface finishes.
