This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered to provide maximum sealing performance for high-output Nissan SR20 platforms. Built to withstand the shearing forces between aluminum cylinder heads and blocks, this gasket requires no additional sealants and resists corrosion over time. The multi-layer stainless steel construction allows the gasket to rebound under high cylinder pressures, ensuring a consistent seal in harsh environments.
- Embossed outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a fluoroelastomer rubber heat-resistant to 250°C (482°F).
- Designed with both additional oil holes to meet specific S14 engine block requirements.
- Provides even load distribution across the sealing area to minimize bore distortion.
- Multi-layer stainless steel shim allows for precise thickness and superior durability compared to composite gaskets.
