The Fel-Pro 1027 Steel Core Laminate Cylinder Head Gasket is engineered specifically for the real-world repair environment where sealing surfaces may no longer be perfectly flat. This gasket utilizes a high-strength steel core that provides the structural integrity necessary to maintain a reliable seal while eliminating the need for retorquing head bolts.
Built with graphite or reinforced fiber facing and steel armor, the 1027 gasket features proprietary Printoseal embossed sealing beads. These beads are precisely placed at vital areas to increase sealing pressure and eliminate potential leak paths. A nonstick anti-friction coating further ensures that small surface imperfections are filled and sealed during installation.
