This Skunk2 Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) Head Gasket is engineered for high-performance Honda H22A VTEC engines, specifically those with oversized bores up to 88.00mm. Designed to withstand the intense cylinder pressures of high-compression and forced induction builds, this stopper-type gasket features additional material strategically sandwiched between layers to ensure a positive combustion seal where standard gaskets often fail.
Constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel and laser-welded for precision, each gasket is coated with HR-180 Fluoroelastomer synthetic rubber. This coating provides excellent flange conformability and a superior seal against oil and coolant passages, even under the extreme thermal cycles of racing applications.
