The ARP 250-4301 Head Stud Kit is an essential upgrade for 6.7L Power Stroke owners looking to prevent head gasket failure and cylinder head lifting. Factory torque-to-yield head bolts are prone to stretching under high cylinder pressures, especially in engines with increased boost or heavy towing demands. These studs provide significantly higher clamping force and more consistent torque loading across the deck surface to maintain a reliable seal.
Manufactured from premium high-strength alloy, each stud is heat-treated and centerless ground to ensure perfect concentricity and maximum fatigue strength. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, making them roughly 1000% stronger than studs with threads rolled before heat treatment.
