Maintain critical cylinder head sealing under extreme combustion pressures with the ARP Custom Aged 625+ Head Stud Kit. Designed specifically for Chrysler 5.7L and 6.1L Hemi engines, these fasteners provide significantly higher clamping force than standard OE head bolts or traditional 8740 chromoly studs. This kit is the essential upgrade for high-boost, high-compression, or nitrous-fed builds where head gasket integrity is a primary concern.
Each stud is manufactured from ARP's proprietary Custom Aged 625+ super-alloy, heat-treated to achieve a typical tensile strength between 260,000 and 280,000 psi. The threads are rolled after heat-treatment, resulting in ten times the fatigue strength of studs threaded before heat-treat. This precision manufacturing ensures consistent torque loading and prevents the cylinder head from lifting under load.
