The ARP 252-4302 M12 Head Stud Kit is a critical upgrade for high-performance Ford XR6 builds, providing the superior clamping force required to maintain a reliable cylinder head seal. Unlike standard torque-to-yield head bolts that stretch and twist during installation, these studs remain stationary. By tightening the nut onto the stud rather than threading a bolt into the block, you achieve much more accurate and consistent preload, protecting the block threads and ensuring even distribution of pressure across the head gasket.
- Engineered specifically for the Ford 4.0L XR6 Inline 6 engine
- Thread Diameter: M12
- Replaces factory head bolts to prevent gasket failure under high cylinder pressures
