Fits Ford 2.3L EcoBoost engines. This ARP Head Stud Kit provides the essential clamping force needed to prevent head gasket failure in high-performance and high-boost applications.
Unlike factory torque-to-yield (TTY) bolts that stretch during installation and can yield further under combustion pressure, these studs are engineered for maximum stability and reusability. By using a stud instead of a bolt, you achieve more accurate torque loading as the fastener isn't subjected to the twisting forces of being threaded into the block under load.
- Manufactured from premium 8740 chromoly steel.
- Heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength for superior fatigue resistance.
- Precision centerless ground for perfectly concentric studs.
- J-form threads are rolled after heat-treat for 1000% higher fatigue strength than standard threads.
- Compact 12-point nuts allow for easier tool clearance.
- Includes studs, parallel-ground washers, 12-point nuts, and ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant.
