The ARP Head Stud Kit (MPN: 251-4702) is a critical fastener upgrade for the Ford Zetec 2.0L engine. Unlike factory torque-to-yield bolts which stretch during installation and must be discarded after one use, these ARP studs provide superior clamping force and are completely reusable. This kit is essential for preventing cylinder head lifting and head gasket failure, particularly in high-compression or forced induction builds where cylinder pressures exceed OE tolerances.
- Manufactured from premium 8740 chromoly steel
- Heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength
- J-form threads rolled after heat-treatment for maximum fatigue resistance
