Fits select 1995-2007 Chevrolet Cavalier, Cobalt, and Pontiac G5, Sunfire (2.2L).
Ensure superior cylinder head sealing and maximum clamping force with the ARP Head Stud Kit (231-4701) for the GM 2.2L Ecotec engine. Unlike factory head bolts that twist during torquing, these studs are installed in a relaxed state before the nuts are tightened. This process provides a more accurate and consistent torque load, significantly reducing the risk of head gasket failure under high cylinder pressures.
- Replaces factory torque-to-yield (TTY) bolts for increased reliability.
- Precision-machined threads facilitate more accurate torque readings.
