Standard OE bolts are prone to stretching, which can lead to gasket failure under high combustion pressures. These ARP fasteners are cold-forged from premium 8740 chromoly steel and heat-treated to reach a 180,000 psi tensile strength rating. The precision-machined threads prevent galling and ensure consistent torque loading during assembly. The kit features a reduced-wrenching hex head design to improve clearance in the tight confines of the Jeep engine bay.
