Fits Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII, IX, and 7-bolt DSM models equipped with the 4G63 engine. This ARP L19 Head Stud Kit is the industry standard for high-horsepower builds where extreme cylinder pressures demand superior clamping force compared to standard 8740 chromoly fasteners.
L19 is a premium, vacuum-melted steel alloy that is specifically heat-treated to achieve a typical tensile strength of 260,000 psi. This ultra-high-strength material is designed to prevent head lifting and gasket failure in high-boost or high-compression racing applications. Each stud is centerless ground to ensure perfect concentricity and the threads are rolled after heat treatment to provide significantly higher fatigue strength than inferior fasteners.
