Engineered to significantly outperform factory hardware, these bolts provide the consistent clamping force required for high-performance street and mild race applications, preventing head gasket failure under increased cylinder pressures.
Constructed from premium 8740 chrome moly steel and heat-treated to a 170,000 psi tensile strength rating, these bolts are much stronger than standard Grade 8 fasteners. Each bolt is precision centerless ground and thread rolled after heat treatment to ensure superior fatigue strength and accurate torque readings. This kit features a classic hex head design and includes the necessary hardened, parallel-ground washers to protect your cylinder heads and ensure even load distribution across the casting.
