Engineered for extreme thermal environments, the DEI Floor and Tunnel Shield II (MPN 50502) provides a high-performance radiant heat barrier to protect vehicle interiors, fuel cells, and sensitive electronics. This 21in x 4ft shield is designed to limit heat transfer on firewalls, transmission tunnels, and floor boards while offering the added benefits of sound deadening and protection against road debris.

The shield features a composite construction consisting of an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8-inch glass-fiber core. At only 3/16-inch total thickness, this material is highly conformable and can be trimmed for a custom fit in tight-clearance areas. The aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive backing ensures a permanent bond to metal, aluminum, carbon fiber, and plastic surfaces. Please note: the aluminum side must face the heat source; do not apply this product directly to exhaust components.
